At GENIO, we are trying to educate students and
parents on the use of a book holder as a study
tool. A very small percentage of the student
population uses a book holder today to help
organize their space when studying or reading.
When a student has an organized workspace for
reading, writing, and typing it promotes better
focus. Having the book up and at eye-level cuts
down on neck and eye strain and promotes better
posture. Assisted by some students, our founder
(Phil Rucinski, who was a former teacher) developed
the STUDYPOD to help students organize their
workspace when doing homework and reading,
helping to make homework more enjoyable and to
get their work done faster.

Thirty years ago, nobody used
backpacks for school (only hikers and
outdoorsmen used them). Today, every student
uses one. They ease students' load, organize
their stuff, and come in a variety of cool
styles. With the STUDYPOD's sleek design,
portability, ability to hold students' stuff,
and obvious benefits for studying, we believe
the STUDYPOD will become the next backpack. A
tool for every student!
