While holding the STUDYPOD with the silver rod at your left, pivot the prop rod toward you until it snaps into place.
Open the STUDYPOD all the way and slide the locking pin to the left as far as it will go.
Flip down the shelves and rest your book centered on the STUDYPOD and adjust page holders.
